Raised on the theatrical virtuosity of Jimi Hendrix, Weird Al Yankovic, and the Marx Brothers, Isabel Libby has been combining passion and performance on guitar since seventh grade. Four years in the icy reaches of Wisconsin’s Beloit College (plus a semester abroad studying music at Goldsmiths University of London) earned them a Bachelor of Arts in Literary Studies and Theatre Performance as well as an appreciation for wool socks.
Isabel teaches guitar with wonder and intentionality. Their lifelong dream as a music teacher is to put themself out of a job by empowering their students to learn and practice music outside of weekly lessons. Drive, showmanship and music literacy all meld in Isabel’s lessons and rehearsals-- Look out, you rock and rollers!
