Our ukulele program is designed to be child-friendly and provide an easy and fun introduction to the world of guitar. We teach the songs kids want to learn and tailor our approach to each student to ensure learning the ukulele is fun!
We work with each student to build their skills by learning songs they want to learn. If they don't know - we help them try to find something they want to learn. Students engage more and have more fun when they get to help in the process
Each student has an individualized learning plan that allows them to learn in a pressure-free and fun environment. Our teachers are expertly trained to help each student improve at their pace while still challenging them to improve.
UKULELE INSTRUCTORS
The Ukulele is an amazing starter instrument for young students looking to discover their passion for music due to its small size and simplicity. Students at Twelve Tone Music school will learn how to tune the instrument, play basic chords, learn about strumming, and progress to playing different tunes and songs. Each student receives both customized personal lessons alongside the chance to play in a group setting.
FIND THE RIGHT PROGRAM
While we do offer lessons and programs for these two instruments, the Ukulele is a very popular instrument for all ages, especially those who are just getting started. Playing the Ukulele can give younger students with interest in playing the guitar in the future a good handle on different skills such as tuning, strumming, and picking, among others.
ONLINE OR IN PERSON
While we do put a great deal of emphasis on one-and-one lessons, it is also essential that students learn to play with both other ukulele stars and other instruments as well. At Twelve Tone Music School, our younger students have the unique opportunity to play alongside kids their same age that are just as passionate about learning the instrument as they are. This builds a welcoming community and sense of belonging as the students discover their talents.
