COVID Safety

As we prepare our planned reopening for 2021, we wanted to create this space to share our COVID-19 safety precautions.

Masks will be mandatory for anyone in the building.

Students should come prepared with their instrument, music, and any gear they may need such as a tuner as we will no longer allow instruments to be shared.

Please plan on arriving 5 minutes prior to every lesson for a temperature check that will take place in the lobby. Anyone with a temperature above 100º F will not be permitted to take their lesson. This will be enforced for our instructors as well.

Wash your hands or use alcohol based hand sanitizer before your lesson. We will have hand sanitizer dispensers in the hallways and in every lesson room.

We will have our own private restroom that will be cleaned and sanitized on a regular schedule, however we are asking all students to use the restroom before coming in order to limit traffic in our hallways.

All Jam Classes will be held in our largest rehearsal rooms and will be capped at a maximum of four students per class, and one instructor.

All private lesson and large rehearsal rooms have been outfitted with HEPA grade air purifiers, in addition to running the HVAC fan throughout the day to promote a maximum number of outside air exchanges.

The front waiting area will still be available for parents who would like to wait in the building, and will be marked for safe social distancing practices.

In the event of an outbreak or exposure we will shut down that day of lessons for a period of 10 days from the day of exposure, at which point all lessons will be offered online. Any family that wishes to opt out of virtual lessons will be issued makeup tokens that can be used to schedule in person lessons upon their return.
