Morgan Easterday is a multi-faceted musician from Chicago, Illinois. She began her musical journey playing trumpet and French horn in elementary school, and went on to learn and study voice, piano, guitar, and ukulele. She continued her formal music education all the way through her Master’s degree, receiving her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Music Composition from Louisiana State University and DePaul University, respectfully.Morgan has a vast experience playing in multiple types of ensembles and writing many different kinds of music. She has worked with collegiate marching bands, professional chamber groups, student ensembles, and has done multiple collaborative projects with other musicians. Since graduating,
In addition to her love for writing and performing, she is very passionate about teaching. Her strong belief that creativity and self-expression should be at the forefront of music education ensures that these elements are brought to all of her teaching experiences. She is so happy to be on the team at Twelve Tone Music School, where she truly feels is the ultimate environment for student success.
